effect from and after the date of its passage, and
continue in force until the first day of October, in
the year eighteen hundred and seventy-five.

CHAPTER 321.
AN ACT to refund to George W. Oldham, of Cecil
county, a certain sum of money erroneously paid
into the Treasury.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Treasurer lie and he is hereby
authorized and directed, upon the warrant of the
Comptroller, to pay to George W. Oldham, of Cecil
county, the sum of twenty-four dollars and ninety-
three cents, being the sum by which the said George
W. Oldham Iras overpaid his account as collector of
State taxes for the ninth district of Cecil county, for
the year eighteen hundred and sixty-eight.
SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That tills Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

the streets, lanes and alleys in the town of Frank-
lin, in Baltimore county, and to prevent nuis-
