much on account, salary of its officers, eight thousand
dollars; for the support of the Maryland Penitentiary,
twenty thousand dollars; to the House of Refuge,
fifteen thousand dollars; to the Maryland Industrial
School for Girls, three thousand dollars; to the Mary-
land Institute for the instruction of the blind, as per
Acts of eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, fifteen
thousand dollars; to the Board of Directors of the
Maryland Institution for the instruction of the blind,
for the education of the deaf and dumb, and the
blind colored children of this State, ten thousand
dollars; to the House of Reformation, and instruction
for colored children, ten thousand dollars; provided,
that the Comptroller shall he satisfied from evidences
brought before him, that the managers have ac-
tually received ten thousand dollars for the year
eighteen hundred and seventy-three from other
sources.
MISCELLANEOUS.
To the Night Watchmen of Public Buildings, six
hundred dollars each, twelve hundred dollars: to the
person employed to take care of Public Buildings,
five hundred and forty dollars; to the Keeper of the
Steam House and Record Office furnace, five hundred
and forty dollars, to the assistant Keeper of the Steam
House and Record Office furnace, six hundred dol-
lars; to a messenger for the Governor, seven hun-
dred dollars; for the salary of the State Vaccine
Agent, six hundred dollars, and to defray the ex-
penses incurred by him in procuring reliable vaccine
virus, the further sum of fourteen hundred dollars; for
the person employed to [to] take charge of the Gover-
nor's Mansion, and the furnace thereof, five hundred
and forty dollars; for insurance on the Governor's
Mansion, three hundred dollars, or so much thereof
as the Governor may think necessary; to the Libra-
rian for distributing Maryland Reports, one hundred
dollars.
lNSPECTIONS.
For salary of Inspector General of tobacco, twenty-
five hundred dollars.
