CHAPTER 248.
AN ACT to refund certain sums of money erro-
neously paid into the Treasury of the State by
John K- Harvey, one of the late collectors of
county and State taxes for Baltimore county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
i Maryland, That the Comptroller he and he is hereby
authorized and directed to refund to John K, Har-
vey, one of the late tax collectors for Baltimore
county, fifty-three dollars and forty-two cents, the
amount overpaid by him into the Treasury of the
State.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall false
effect from the date of its passage.
Approved April 1, 1872.

AN ACT to repeal sections eighty-six, eighty-seven,
ninety-five, one hundred and three, one hundred
and four, one hundred and five, one hundred and
seventeen, one hundred and eighteen, one hun-
dred and nineteen, one hundred and twenty, one
hundred and twenty-one, one hundred and twenty-
four, one hundred and twenty-seven, one hundred
and twenty-eight and one hundred and twenty-
nine, of article four of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Baltimore City,," sub-title "Auc-
tions," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
SECTION 1. Be ii enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections eighty-six, eighty-seven,
ninety-five, one hundred and three, one hundred
