Mr. Chaisty submitted the following amendment:
In line 11, section 89, strike out the word " next," and
insert the words " in the year above designated."

The second reading of the bill was then proceeded with,

On motion of Mr. Smith,
The House proceeded to the consideration of the order sub-
mitted by him on yesterday,
That on and after to-morrow, this House meet at 11
o'clock, A. M., until otherwise ordered.
The question recurring upon the adoption of the order,
On motion of Mr. Smith,
The order was laid on the table.
On motion of Mr. Smith,
At 2 1/2 o'clock, P. M., the House adjourned.
