CHAPTER 225.
AN ACT to regulate the trial fees of the State's
Attorney, for Wicomico county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That in all criminal cases which may be
' tried in the Circuit Court of Wicomico county, any
of the Judges of the First Judicial Circuit of Maryland
may, in addition to the sum allowed by law as an
appearance fee, allow tire State's Attorney for said
county such compensation in each and every case.
by way of trial fee, as the said Judges or any one of"
them may think just and proper; to be levied by the
County Commissioners of said county.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That the said State's At-
torney shall, at least ten days before the annual levy
is made by the said County Commissioners, make
out and present to the Judges aforesaid, for their
inspection and approval, his account for services
rendered during the fiscal year past, which account,
when approved as aforesaid, shall be levied by the
County Commissioners of Wicomico county, at the
time of making the general levy in each and every
year.
Sue. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
