SEC. 16. And be it enacted, That any and all Acts
or parts of Acts, or Acts inconsistent with the pro-
visions of tills Act, be and are hereby repealed so
far as they apply to the German American Bank: of
Baltimore, named in this Act of Incorporation.
SEC. 17. And he if enacted, That the General Assem-
bly reserves to itself the right to alter or amend this
Act of Incorporation at pleasure.

CHAPTER 223.
AN ACT to repeal section forty-five, article twenty-
eight, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title, " County Commissioners," sub-title " Private
Roads," and to enact the following in lieu thereof:
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section forty-five, article twenty-
eight, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
" County Commissioners," sub-title " Private Roads,"
be and the same is hereby repealed, and the follow-
ing enacted in lieu thereof:
45. No such road shall be made through any
garden or yard.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
