I'. Cobb, William B. Collier, Samuel Burgess, William H.
Scott, H. E. Wotten, George Burgess, Beal Helm and
Robert Wilson, securities on the bond of Thomas McCrae,
Jr., Collector of State and County Taxes of the First Collec-
tion District of Howard county for the year "1869, from the
payment of interest on State lax levied on said district for
said year, 1869,
Reported back the same without amendment.
The bill was then read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 18 of Article
LVI. of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled " Li-
censes," sub-title " Fisheries and Horse Races," and to re-
enact the same so as to read as follows.
Was read a second time and ordered to he engrossed for a
third reading.
Mr. Smith, Chairman of a Select Committee, to whom was
referred
The bill, entitled an Act to repeal chapter 60 of the laws
of January Session, 1864, relating to Dorchester county,
Reported back the same wish proposed amendments.
Being submitted, as a substitute for original bill,
The amendments were adopted, and
The bill, as amended, was then read a second time and or-
dered to be engrossed for a third reading.
On motion of Mr. Turner, (the rules being suspended),
The House proceeded to the consideration of
The bill, entitled an Act entitled a supplement to an Act
entitled an Act to lay oil streets in Baltimore county, ad-
joining Baltimore City, and to repeal certain acts inconsistent
therewith) passed, by the General Assembly of Maryland at
the January Session, 1870, chapter 99,
Said bill being upon a third reading, the bill was then
third time, and
On motion of Mr. Turner,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill recommitted to the Baltimore county delegation.
The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the
day,
