i SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the sum of three-
thousand dollars he and the same is hereby appro-
priated out of any money in the Treasury not other-
wise appropriated, for the purpose of paying the
expenses incurred by the commissioners in the exe-
cution of the said Act of eighteen hundred and
sixty-eight, and such compensation to said commis-
sioners as the Governor shall deem reasonable, for
their services under said Act, and also for the pur-
pose of paying like compensation to the said com-
missioners for services to be rendered under the
authority conferred by this Act, and the expenses to
be incurred in its execution; and the Comptroller is
hereby directed to issue his warrant or warrants
upon the Treasurer in pursuance of the Governor's
order therefor, in payment of such sums of money
as may be hereby required.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That all Acts and parts
of Acts inconsistent with this Act, be and they are-
hereby repealed; and this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage and approval.

CHAPTER 211.
AN ACT to repeal chapter four hundred and
eleven, passed at January session, eighteen hun-
dred and seventy, entitled. " An Act to add addi-
tional sections to article sixty-nine, of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled 'officers' regulating
and prescribing the number and compension of
officers of the Senate and House of Delegates, and
repealing all Acts inconsistent therewith."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That chapter four hundred and eleven,
passed at January session eighteen hundred and
