of -the Attorney General, three thousand dollars; for
commissions to States' Attorneys, two thousand dol-
lars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; to the
{"Sherrif:' and Crier of Court of Appeals, one thousand
dollars, or so much thereof as the Clerk of the Court
of Appeals may certify him entitled to receive; for
the salary of the State Reporter, one thousand
dollars.
INSPECTIONS.
For the salaries of the five Inspectors of Tobacco
in Baltimore city, two thousand five hundred dollars
each, twelve thousand five hundred dollars; for in-
surance on State Tobacco Warehouses, five hundred
dollars, or so much thereof as, in the discretion of
the Comptroller, may be necessary; for the payment
of the annual ground rent on the Tobacco Ware-
house lots in Baltimore, four hundred and forty-eight
dollars and eleven cents.
LEGISLATURE.
To the Secretary of the Senate, three hundred dol-
lars; to the Chief Clerk of the House of Delegates,
three hundred dollars.
PUBLIC DEBT.
For the payment of the interest on the public debt
of this State, that is to say, the interest falling due
quarterly and semi-anuually on the currency debt,
the interest due semi-annually on the Maryland De-
fence Loan, the interest on the sterling debt falling
due semi-annnally, and payable in London, including
the cost of exchange, remittance and commission,
the interest on the Southern Relief Bonds due semi-
annually, and the semi-annual interest due on the
Deaf and Dumb Asylum Loan: seven hundred and
fifty thousand dollars.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer of the
State shall, upon the warrant of the Comptroller, dis-
burse the said sums of money herein appropriated
for the objects and purposes specified, to or upon the
order of the person or persons, bodies politic or cor-
porate, severally entitled to receive the same.
