Capital stock
In force.
LAWS OF MARYLAND.
hereafter become, the property of the said corpora-
tion, which said surrender, assignment, and owner-
ship, the said corporation is hereby declared capable
in law of receiving, accepting and holding for the
purpose of sucli cancellation and reduction of capital
stock, as aforesaid.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted!, That the capital stock of
the said Mineral Hill Mining Company, shall be
held and taken to be reduced, by the amount of
stock to be so canceled, or to be so from time to
time canceled, under the powers conferred by this
Act.
SEC. 4. And he it enacted, That the provisions of
this Act shall take effect whenever the same, and
the provisions thereof, shall be accepted, at any gen-
eral meeting of the stockholders of the said company,
called in pursuance of the by-laws thereof.

Appointment
of' Road Com-
missioners.
CHAPTER 39.
AN ACT to provide for the repair and improve-
ment of the Public Roads in Culvert county.
{SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the} the General Assembly of
Man/Jam!, That the County Commissioners of Cal-
vert county, shall, during the month of April, in the
year eighteen hundred and seventy-two, and during
the same month every second year thereafter, ap-
point two discreet and intelligent tax-payers in each
Election District of said county, as Road Commissioners, who shall serve for two years, and until
their successors are appointed, and who, with one of
the County Commissioners, to be named by the
Board of County Commissioners, for each district,
shall constitute a Board of Road Commissioners for
each Election District of said county.
