SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That in the election of
directors on the part of the private stockholders the
stock of the State shall not be voted, nor shall the
same be counted in ascertaining the presence of a
quorum necessary for such election, but the Board
of Public Works shall be empowered to appoint two
directors of said company on the part of the State.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the day of its passage.

CHAPTER 10.
AN ACT to alter and amend sections one hundred
and. nine-three, one hundred and ninety-four, one
hundred and ninety-five, one hundred and ninety-
six, one hundred and ninety-seven, one hundred
and ninety-eight, and one hundred and ninety-
nine, of article first, of the supplement of eighteen
hundred and seventy, to the Code of Public Local
Laws, under the head of Allegany county, relating
to birds, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments so as to read respectively as follows:
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections one hundred and ninety-
three, one hundred and ninety-four, one hundred and
ninety-five, one hundred and ninety-six, one hundred
and ninety-seven, one hundred and ninety-eight and
one hundred and ninety-nine, of article first, of the
supplement of eighteen hundred and seventy, to the
Code of Public Local Laws, under the head of Alle-
gany county, relating to birds, be repealed, and to
re-enact the same with amendments so as to read
respectively as follows:
SEC. 193. And be it enacted, That it shall not be
lawful for any person in Allegany county to shoot,
