NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the Senate. The bill, entitled an Act to exempt Caroline and Kent -counties from the operation of chapter 231, of the Public Local Laws, entitled an Act to protect fish and wild fowl in the waters of Queen Anne's, Kent, Carolina and. Harford "counties, passed at the January Session, 1870, Being upon ft third leading, On motion of Mr. Hardcastle, (by unanimous consent), The vote by which said bill was ordered to a third reading, Was reconsidered. ^ The bill then being upon a second reading, Mr. Ford, of Queen Anne's, submitted the following -amendment: AMENDMENT PROPOSED. Section 1, line 2, after the word "Caroline," insert "Queen Anne's." Which was adopted. The bill, 88 amended, was then read a second lime and -ordered to be engrossed lor a third reading. On motion of Mr. Steele, At 2 1/2 o'clock, P. M., the House adjourned until Monday, at 12 o'clock, noon. |
