The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing nomi-
nations.

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,
Annapolis, March 28, 1872.
Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:
I ask the return to this Department of the nomination of
Wm. H. Pearce, heretofore nominated as Justice of the Peace
for the First District of Cecil county.

On motion by Mr. Miller,
The Secretary was directed to return to his Excellency the
above nomination.
The same was accordingly returned.
