STATE OF MARYLAND,
EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,
Annapolis, March 28, 1872.
Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:
I have the honor to nominate George T. Batta, Officer of
Registration for the Seventeenth Ward of Baltimore City,
vice H. Collins, declined to accept.

On motion by Mr. Denson,
The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing nomi-
nations.
STATE OF MARYLAND,
EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,
Annapolis, March 28, 1872.
Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:
1 have the honor to nominate George W. Boswell as Jus-
tice of Peace for the First Election District of Howard county,
in the place of Rezin Hopkins, who declined to accept.

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing nomi-
nation.

Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:
I have the honor to nominate Thomas J. Wheatton and
James H. Goodsell, as Justices of the Peace for the Eighth
Election District of Somerset county, the first to fill vacancy,
and the second, a new appointment under the Act of 1872,
and to reside at Crisfield in said county; and Samuel Web-
ster a Justice of the Peace for the Ninth District of said
county, under the Act of 1872; I also nominate the same
gentlemen as Justices of the Peace for said county, from 1st
Monday in May 1872, for two years.
