Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland : I have the honor to nominate for Justice of the Peace for Anne Arundel county : Fourth District—W. G. Disney, to fill the vacancy occasion led by the rejection of Lycurgus Welch. WM. PINKNEY WHYTE. On motion by Mr. Tuck, The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing nomi- nation. Mr. Denson, from the Committee on Executive nomina- tions, to which had been referred the nomination of Isaac Tittow, as Notary Public for Frederick county, reported the Committee were of opinion that said nomination ought to be confirmed. Whereupon the Senate advised and consented to said ap- pointment, agreeably to the nomination of the 19th Febru- ary, instant. Mr. Denson, from the Committee on Executive nomina- tions, to which had been referred the nominations for Officers of Registration for Frederick county, reported the Committee were of opinion that said nominations ought to be confirmed.. Whereupon the Senate advised and consented to said ap- pointments, agreeably to the nominations of the 19th Febru- ary, instant. |
