Mr. Scott presented the petition of Nathan Masters, late Collector of Prince George's county, asking to be refunded certain taxes erroneously paid into the Treasury. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims. Mr. Whitson submitted the following order : Ordered, That Messrs. Ardinger and Whitson be ex- cused until Tuesday. Which was adopted. Mr. Ford, of Queen Anne's, submitted the following or- der : Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that Mr. Young, of Washington county, is absent on account of sick- ness. Which was adopted. Mr. Langrell submitted the following order : Ordered, That Mr. Johnson be excused from this House until Tuesday next on account of sickness in his family. Which was adopted. Mr. Franklin submitted the following order: Ordered, That leave of absence be granted to George Sharp leigh, an officer of this House, until Friday next, Which was adopted. Mr. Franklin submitted the following order : Ordered, That leave of absence be granted to Dr. Parker, of Worcester county, until Thursday next. Which was adopted. Mr. Ford, of Queen Anne's, submitted the following order: Ordered, That when this House adjourn to-day, it stand adjourned until Monday next, at 12 o'clock. Which was? adopted.
