Compton, Miller, Carroll, Spates, Dennis, Sellman, Earle, Spencer, Fields, Steiner, Henry, Wilson, Jump, Williams—15. Longwell, NEGATIVE—Mr. Denson—1. On motion by Mr. Steiner, it was Ordered, That the unfeigned thanks of the Senate are hereby given to its President, the Honorable Henry Snyder, for the courteous, dignified and able manner in which he has presided over its deliberations during the present Session, Which was adopted. On motion by Mr. Williams, The remarks of Mr, Steiner were ordered to be entered on the Journal. REMARKS OF MR. STEINER. The necessity of my political position obliged me to spoil the inaugural remarks of our worthy President at the open- ing of the present Session, hut that same political position en- ables me to present the order just read, for the adoption and unanimous ratification of the Senate, and I do this with the greatest pleasure imaginable.
