Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The House bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1828, chapter 136, entitled an Act to incorporate the members of Christ Church, as a separate congregation of the Protestant Episcopal Church of the United States, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE, Messrs. Compton, Jump, Carroll, Longwell, Claggett, Miller, Denson, Spates, Downs, Sellman, Earle, Spencer, Fields, Wilson, Henry, Williams—16. ' NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Mr. Earle, from the Committee of Conference, submitted the following REPORT. The Committee of Conference on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses, on the House bill No. 150, having had the same under consideration, recommend to their respective Bodies, that the Senate recede from its amendments Nos. 5, 6, 8 and 9 ; also from its amendment No. 14, and recommend. that under head of "Miscellaneous," line 26, after the word "resort," strike out all to the word "for" in line 29.
