When, Mr. Compton, from the Committee on the Chesa- peake Bay and its Tributaries, reported favorably on The House hill entitled an Act to repeal section 20, of Article XXXXI. of the Code of Public General Laws, and re-enact the same with amendments. On motion by Mr. Compton, The rules were suspended, so as to give said bill a third reading this day, as follow: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Longwell, Blake, Miller, Compton, Spates, Crawford, Sellman, Claggett, Spencer, Downs, Steiner, Dennis, Tuck, Fields, Wilson—17. Henry, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows ; AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs.
