Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates, Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to Article XXXVII. of the Code of Public General Laws of this State, title "Evidence," and to be numbered, in due order after the last section thereof, Was read the third tine and passed by yeas and nays, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Longwell, Blake, Miller, Carroll, Spates, Claggett, Sellman, Downs, Timmons, Earle, Tuck—IS. Fields, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and delivered The House bill for the relief of the Baltimore City Passen- ger Railway Company, Which was read the first time and referred to the Balti- more City Senators. Also, The House bill to appropriate $10,000 for the State Tabacco Warehouses in Baltimore City, Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance. Also, The House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 8, Article XIII. of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Howard County," sub-title "County Commissioners," Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Carroll, Timmons and Miller. Also, The House bill entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters of Election District No. 8, of Dorchester county, to de- termine, by ballot, whether spirituous liquors shall be sold in .said. district, or a license granted for the same, |
