1872. OF THE SENATE. 715 money erroneously paid into the Treasury of the State by John K. Harvey, late Collector of Taxes for Baltimore county, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Longwell, Blake, Miller, Compton, Spates, Claggett, Sellman, Downs, Spencer, Dennis, Steiner, Earle, Timmons, Fields, Tuck, Henry, Williams—18. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel county, to appropriate a sum of money to the capital stock of the Annapolis and North Severn Bridge Company, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Henry Blake, Stephenson, Carroll, Spates, Downs, Sellman, Dennis, Steiner, Earle, Williams—12. Fields, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The House hill entitled an Act to repeal sections 25 and 26, of Article XVI. of the Code of Public General Laws, re- lating to Chancery, and to amend and re-enact the same, Being on its third reading, Mr. Fields moved to postponed said bill indefinitely. / Which was adopted. The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Annapolis and Elk Ridge Railroad Company, by authorizing the said Company to extend its road to the harbor of the City of Annapolis, to borrow money upon a mortgage of its prop- erty and franchises, and regulating the number and election of the Directors of the said Company, |
