512 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 18, The Senate proceeded to Executive Session. Having resumed Legislative business. Mr. Tuck, from a Select Committee, reported favorably, The House bill, entitled an Act to incorporate a Company to build a bridge over Severn River, near Annapolis, in Anne Arundel county. Said bill was read the second time. On motion by Mr. Steiner, The Senate adjourned. EVENING SESSION. MONDAY EVENING, 8 o'clock, P. M. The Senate met. Present, the following Senators. Messrs. President, Blake, Carroll, Denson, Davis, Downs, Earle, Longwell, Spates, Sellman, Spencer, Steiner, Tuck, Wilson and Williams—15. The House bill entitled an Act to incorporate a Company to make a Turnpike Road from the City of Westminster to Bird Hill, in Carroll County, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFlRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Spates, Blake, Sellman, Carroll, Spencer, Denson, Steiner, Davis, Tuck, Downs, Wilson, Earle, Williams—15. Longwell, NEGATIVE—None. "Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The Senate bill entitled an Act to release to Mrs. Eleanor Koller all the rights and interest of the State of Maryland, in and to the personal estate of William Frederick Carry, late of Baltimore City, deceased, Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for third reading. |
