Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays." Also, returned, Senate bill, entitled an Act to legalize the bequest of Mrs. Ann Stump, late of Harford county, to the Deer Creek Hominy Church in Harford county. Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays." Also, returned, Senate bill, entitled an Act to create an additional election district in Carroll county. Endorsed, Passed by yeas and nays." Also, returned The Senate bill. entitled an Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Washington county to issue bonds to raise money to build a new Court House. Endorsed, "Considered, and three-fifth of all the members elected, not having voted in the affirmative, the bill was re- jected by yeas and neys. Also, delivered The House bill, entitled an Act to repeal chapter 45, of the Acts of 1840, entitled an Act to prohibit stock from running at large in and around Pikesville, in Baltimore county. Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Davis, Spates, and Jump. Also, The House hill, entitled an Act to repeal the Act of incor- poration of Mechanicstown, in Frederick county, Mary- land, and supplements thereto, and certain sections of the Code of Public Local Laws for said county, and to amend and make valid the same.
