The House bill, entitled an Act further to amend the charter of the Associated Firemen's Insurance Company, of the
City of Baltimore,
Reported favorably thereon, and
Said bill was read the second, ''me.
Also, from the same Committee, to which had been refer-
red.
The House bill, entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Allegany county, to correct the changes
and assessments of property of Curtain M. Graham and Sarah
Wright, and to refund taxes paid by them in error,
Reported the said bill with the following amendments:
Amend the title of the bill, line 3, after the word "Wright,"
insert "and Rebecca Cassap."
Sec. 1. line 3, after the word "by," insert "Rebecca Cassap."
Which was adopted.
Said hill was then read the second time.
Also, from the same Committee, to which had been re-
ferred
The House bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Butcher's
and Drover's Bank of Baltimore,
Reported said bill with the following amendment:
Line 2, section 10, after the word "to," insert the word
"repeal."
Which was adopted.
Said bill, as amended was then read the second time.
Mr. Jump, from the Committee on Pensions; to which had
been referred the following petitions :
The petition of Elizabeth Nicholson, widow of Thomas
Nicholson, late of Capt. Perkins' company, Maryland Militia,
of war 1812, asking for pension.
The petition of Mary Bainer, widow of Win. Bainer, late
of 1812 war, for pension.
The petition of twenty-two citizens of Harford county,.
asking that the name of Joseph Gray, a soldier of the war
of 1812, be placed on the pension rolls.
The petition of twenty-three citizens of Harford county,
asking that the name of Mrs. Hannah Wann, a widow of a
soldier of the war of 1812, be placed on the pension list and..
allowed a pension.
