346, 369 and 384 ; Acts of 1865, chapters 6, 163, 198, 194 ;
Acts of 1867, chapters 148, 241, 368 and 381 ; and Acts of
1868, chapters 128, 295, (except sections 8 aud 9 of said Act
of 1868, chapter 295,) and 458, relating to Inspections, ex-
cept sections 410 to 423, inclusive, and sections 458 to 477,
all inclusive, and sections 495 to 547, inclusive, relating to
Tobacco,"
Being upon a second reading,
Mr. McOolgan moved to strike out the enacting clause of
said bill.
Pending the consideration whereof,
On motion of Mr. Goldsborough,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill made the order of the day for Monday next, 5th of
February.
The bill, entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
County Commissioners for Oarroll county, to subscribe to the
capital stock of Turnpike Companies in Carroll county,
Wat read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for
third reading,
The bill, entitled an Act to confirm the bequest of Rev.
James Dolan, deceased, to the Young Catholic's Friend So-
ciety of the City of Baltimore, for the purpose of establishing
a Children's Aid Society,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to authorize the proprietors of
Greenmount Cemetery, to increase the permanent fund for
the maintenance thereof,
Being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Staylor,
The bill was recommited to the Select Committee on that
subject.
The bill, entitled an Act to repeal chapter 189, passed at
the January Session 1870, relating to Queen Anne's, Dor-
chester and Somerset counties, and for reimbursing owners
of sheep killed by dogs, commonly known as the dog law,
