336 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 4, act the same with amendments, relating to the taking of oys- ters with scoops in the waters of Fishing Bay and Hunga River, in Dorchester county, Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit- tee on the Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to authorize Wm. P. Cade, of Caroline county, on behalf of his children, minors, and Wm. A. R. Griffith, of said county, to exchange deeds of conveyance, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as .follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Longwell, Blake, Stephenson, Compton, Sellman, Carroll, Spencer, Claggett, Steiner, Henry, Tuck, Jump, Wilson—14. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The Senate bill, entitled an Act for the better regulation of public roads in Wicomico county, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Stephenson, Blake, Spates, Carroll, Sellman, Claggett, ' Spencer, Henry, Steiner, Jump, Tuck, Longwell, Wilson—14. NEGATIVE—Non e. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. On motion by Mr. Jump, The Senate adjourned. |
