1872.] OF THE SENATE. 315 The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 5 and 6 of an Act to incorporate the Contributors to the Baltimore General Dispensary, passed November Session, 1807 chap- ter 110, and enact the following sections in lieu thereof, Was then read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Jump, Blake, Miller. Compton, Stephenson, Carroll, Spates, Crawford, Sellman; Claggett, Steiner, Denson, Timmons, Dennis, Tuck, Fields, Williams—19. Henry, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 10 of Article XXXVII. of the Code of Public General Laws, re- lating to the pay of witnesses attending the Circuit Courts or Orphans' Courts of this State, and re-enact the same as amended, . Being upon a third reading, Mr. Steiner submitted the following amendment: AMENDMENT PROPOSED. Amend by striking out "Frederick" where it occurs in said bill. Which was adopted. Said bill, as amended, was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. The hour of 1 o'clock, having arrived, the order of the day, being the amendment' to the majority report of the Commit- tee on Finance, relating to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company, Was taken up. Pending the consideration of said report. Mr. Blake moved to adjourn. Which was determined in the negative. Mr. Fields moved to postpone the further consideration of |
