Leave was granted Messrs. Dennis, Williams and Sellman,
to report a bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Jerico and.
Westover Railroad Company.
Mr. Timmons, from a Select Committee, to which leave
had been granted, reported
A bill, entitled an Act to authorize and require the Com-
missioners of Worcester county, to levy a sum of money to
pay the Crier and Bailiffs of the Circuit Court of said county-
Which was read the first time.
Also, reported
A hill, entitled an Act to re-enact the License Law, in re-
gard to lumber in the City of Baltimore.
Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.
Mr. Crawford, from a Select Committee, to which leave
had been granted, reported
A bill, entitled an Act for the better regulation of Public
Roads in Wicomico county.
Which was read the first time.
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to .'more particularly define
the powers and duties of the County Commissioners loners of Har-
ford county,
Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows :
