Blake, Steiner, Jump, Tuck, Spates, Wilson—6. Mr. Jump, from a Select Committee, to which leave had been granted, reported A bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 16 of Article XXXVIII. of the Code of Public General Laws, so far as the same relates to Talbot county, and to add an addi- tional section to Article XX., Code of Public Local Laws, -entitled "Talbot county." Which was read the first time. The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and re- turned The Senate bill, entitled an Act to exempt certain portions of the waters of the Chesapeake Bay therein described, from the operations of sections 1 and 3, of Article XCVIII. Endorsed, "Parsed by yeas and nays with the following amendments." AMENDMENTS PROPOSED. In section 2, line 7, insert after the word "to," the words 'Carpenter's Point on." In section 8, line 3, strike out the words "their respective counties," and insert the words "the State of Maryland." In section 11, strike out after the word 'same," in line 3, to the word "that," in line 4, of the same section. In section 11, line 5, strike out the word "County in which such application is made," and insert the word "State." |
