Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates, The House bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Lubri- cating Car-Axle Company of Baltimore, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as .follows : AFFIRMATIVE. -Messrs. President, Stephenson, Blake, Spates, Carroll, Sellman, Denson, Steiner, Dennis, Timmons, Earle, Tuck, Fields, Wilson, Henry, Williams—17. Longwell, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The hour of 1 o'clock having arrived, On motion by Mr. Stephenson, The order of the day was taken up, Being the Majority Report of the Finance Committee, upon the subject of tolls charged by the Baltimore and Ohio Rail- road Company upon the Washington branch, when, Mr. Earle submitted the following amendment to said re- port : Amend the report by inserting between the words "Mary" Baud" and "cannot," the words "emanating from the Com- pany." On motion by Mr. Fields, Further consideration of said report and proposed amend- ment, was postponed until 12 o'clock M., to-morrow. Mr. Tuck submitted the following message : |
