282 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Fob. 20, the matter of tolls charged upon the Washington Branch of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company was taken up. Mr. Denson moved to postpone further consideration of aid report until the first day of March. Mr. Tuck moved to amend .the motion by postponing until Tuesday next. The yeas and nays being called, the amendment was deter- mined in the affirmative, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE, Messrs. Carroll, Stephenson, Crawford, Steiner, Downs, Timmons, Fields, Tuck, Henry, Wilson—11. Longwell, NEGATIVE. Messrs.. President, Earle, Compton, Miller, Claggett, Spates, Denson, Williams—9. Dennis, The vote recurring upon Mr. Denson's motion to post- pone, It was adopted as amended. Mr. Denson, from a Select Committee, to which had been referred The House bill, entitled an Act repeal sections 151, 152, 153 and 154, of Article IV., of the Code of Public General Laws of Baltimore City, title "Coroners and Inquests," Reported favorably thereon. On motion by Mr. Denson, The rules being suspended, as required by section 27, of Article III. of the Constitution, so as to give said bill a third leading this day, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs.
