Article XVIII., of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Clerks of Courts," and to re-enact the same with amendments,-
Endorsed, "Reported unfavorably from the Committee on
the Judiciary, and the report adopted."

The Senate bill; entitled an Act to amend section 36, of
Article XVI., of the Public General Laws of this State,
title "Chancery" sub-title "Infants,"
Endorsed; "Reported unfavorably from the Committee on
the Judiciary, and the report adopted."

The Senate bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Mary-
land Jockey Club,
Endorsed, " Considered, amended and passed by yeas and

The House bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 151, 152,
153 and 154, of Article XXI., of the Code of Public Lucal
Laws, relating to "Coroners and Inquests in the City of Bal-
timore," and to substitute the following.
Which was read and referred to Messrs. Denson, Hoary
and Compton.
Mr. Claggett, from a Select Committee , to which leave had
been granted, reported
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of chapter 274,
entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of chapter 31, of the Acts
of Assembly of 1865, in relation to the publication of Local
Laws, and to re-enact the same with amendments, so far as
the same applies to Washington county.
Which was read (ho first time.
Mr. Carroll called up Senate hill, entitled an Act to amend
the Act of 1853, and to change the name of the Pittshurg
and Connellsville Railroad Company to the name of Pitts-
burg, Washington and Baltimore Railroad Company.
Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
