On motion by Mr. Miller, The said bill as amended was ordered to be printed. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Calvert county to subscribe to the capital Block of the Baltimore and Drum Point Railroad Company, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Miller, Blake, Stephenson, Compton, Spaces, Carroll, Bellman, Denson, Steiner, Downs, Timmons, Fields, Tuck. Henry, Williams—17. Longwell, ' NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to exempt all that por- tion of the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, lying within cer- tain lines therein described, from the operations and effects ot. sections 1 and 3, of Article XCVIII. of the Code of Pub- lic General Laws, title "Wild Fowl," and to enact other sections, Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to revive and re-enact and amend certain sections of the Act passed at January Session, 1852, chapter 316, relating to the burning of the Courthouse in Dorchester county, and providing against certain evils, Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for third reading. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 212, of Article IV., of the Public Local Laws of the City of Balti- more, entitled " Elections," and to re-enact the same with amendments, Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third leading. |
