Which was read the first time. Mr. Miller, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings, to which had been recommitted House bill, entitled an Act to authorize Dr. Wm. Stewart, guardian of Jno. Walter, a minor, to pass his final account, Reported favorably thereon, and, Said bill was read the second time. Also, House bill, entitled an Act to authorize Louisa M. Rial, to settle her account as guardian to Albert Rial. Reported favorably thereon, and, Said bill was then read the second time. Senate bill, entitled an Act to amend Article XCVII. of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Wild Fowl," by adding an additional section, allowing shooting from' sink- boats, in Dorchester county, on certain days, Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Mr. Denson presented the petition of Barbara Bowers,. asking a pension. Also, The petition of Margaret Baker, asking the same. Also, The petition of Jane Hill, asking the same. v Also, The petition of Philemon Jones, asking the same. Which were severally read and referred to the Commit- tee on Pensions.. Mr. Claggett presented the remonstrance of the 'Board of County School Commissioners of Washington county, against the passage of a bill appropriating $800 to the Hagerstown Academy. Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Education. We Senate bill, entitled an Act to amend the Act of March Session, 1865, chapter 147, entitled an Act to incorporate the Empire Coal Company of Allegany county, by adding there- to certain additional sections, |
