Registers of Wills in the counties of this State and the City
of Baltimore, and the collection thereof.
We have appointed Messrs. Henry, Claggett and Williams
on the part of the Senate.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.
Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 24, of Article XCIV. of the Public General
Laws, title "Treasurer,"
Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
Mr, Henry, from a Select Committee, reported
A bill, entitled an Act to amend Article XCVIII. of the
Code of Public General Laws, title Wild Fowl, by adding an
additional section thereto, allowing the shooting of water
fowl from sink-boats, within the limits of Dorchester county,
on certain days in each week.
Which was read the first time.
On motion by Mr. Timmons,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Timmons, Blake and Compton to bring in a bill to continue in force the present system
of inspecting and counting lumber.
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1853,
chapter 88, entitled an Act to incorporate the Pittsburg and
Connellsville Railroad Company, in the State of Maryland, by
-changing the name of the said company to the name of,
Pittsburg, Washington and Baltimore Railroad Company,
Being upon its second reading,
On motion by Mr. Stephenson,
The further consideration of said bill was postponed until
Friday, the 16th, and made the order of the day for that day.
On motion by Mr. Dennis,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Dennis, Spencer, and Wil-
liams, to introduce a bill, entitled an Act increasing the num-
ber of magistrates in Lawson's District, Somerset County.
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to amend the Act entitled
an Act to incorporate the Board of Beneficience of St. John's
Independent M. P. Church, in Baltimore City, passed January
