General Laws, entitled "Licenses," sub-title "Foreign Cor-
porations and Companies," and re-enact the same with
amendments.
On motion by Mr. Earle,
Said bill was ordered to be printed.
On motion by Mr. Stephenson, it was
Ordered, That the Comptroller be requested to furnish to
the Senate, as soon as practicable, a copy of all bids for
State printing, from 1864 to 1868, inclusive, including the
bids for the printing of the State Constitutional Conventions
of 1864 and 1867 ; to whom the contracts, at each Session of
the Legislature, and each Session of the State Conventions
were awarded, and what was the cost, on each occasion, to
the State; also, the amount paid for the State Legislative
printing for the Session of the Legislature of 1870, and to
whom paid.
On motion by Mr. Williams,
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Calvert county to subscribe to the capital
stock of the Baltimore and Drum Point Railroad Company
Was recommitted to the Select Committee.
Mr. Miller, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which leave had been granted, reported
A bill, entitled an Act to amend the Act to incorporate
the Board of Beneficence of St. John's Independent M. P.
Church, in the City of Baltimore, passed January Session,
1864, chapter 144, by enlarging the capacity of the said cor-
poration to hold property.
Which was read the first time.
Mr .Williams, from the Select Committee, to which had been
recommitted
The Senate bill, entitled an Act authorizing the County
Commissioners of Calvert county, to subscribe to the
capital stock of the Baltimore and Drum Point Rail Road
Company,
Reported said bill with the following amendments :
Section 10, line 5, after the word "tax-payer," insert the
words "and all real estate at that time owned by him."
Section 10, line 14, after the word "tax-payer," strike out
the word "is," and insert, "and all real estate at that time
owned by him, are." &
