AMENDMENT PROPOSED. Strike out the words, "The Court-house door, in line 6, of -section 3, of said bill," and insert the words "Some central place in each Election District." On motion by Mr. Williams, The amendment was concurred in. The bill, as amended, was then passed by yens and nays '88 follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Miller, Blake, Stephenson, Compton, Spates, Crawford, Sellman, Claggett, Spencer, Denson, Steiner, Earle, Timmons, Fields, Wilson, Henry, Williams—19. Longwell, NEGATIVE—None. 'On motion by Mr. Williams, Leave of absence was granted to Mr. Sellman until Tuesday next. Mr- Fields, from a Select Committee, to which had been referred House bill, entitled an Act to exempt Caroline and Kent county from the operations of chapter 231 of the Pub- lic Local Laws, passed at January Session, 1870, relating to -wild fowl, reported favorably thereon.
