The House bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 215 of Article IV., of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Elections," and re-enact the follow- ing, Was read the third time and passed, by yeas and nays, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE". Messrs. President, Henry, Blake, Long-well, Compton, Miller., Crawford, - Stephenson, Claggett, Spates, Denson, Spencer, Dennis, Steiner, Earle, Timmons—17. Fields, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared, and delivered the following bills : The House bill, entitled an Act to authorize and direct the Attorney General to institute proceedings, to forfeit the char- ter of the Baltimore and Harford Turnpike Company. Which was read the first time, and On motion by Mr. Stephenson, Referred to Messrs. Stephenson, Davis and Blake. Also, The House bill, entitled an Act to exempt Caroline and' Kent counties from the operation of chapter 231, of the Pub- lic Local Laws, entitled an Act to protect fish and wild fowl. Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Fields, Spencer and Stephenson. Also, House bill, entitled an Act to authorize Louisa M. Rial to settle her account, as guardian to Albert Rial, and deliver over the estate to said ward. |
