148 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 5, Senate bill, entitled an Act to change the dividing line be- tween the first and eighth Election Districts of Worcester county, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Longwell, Blake, Stephenson, Compton, Sellman, Crawford, Spencer, Earle, Steiner, Henry, Williams—13. Jump, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. Senate bill, entitled an Act to add an additional section to the Public Local Laws of Allegany county, and to repeal sections 24, 25 and 26 thereof, and re-enact the same with amendments. Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays; as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Longwell, Blake, Stephenson, Compton, Sellman, Crawford, Spencer, Earle, Steiner, Henry, Wilson, Jump, Williams—14. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and delivered. the following: House bill, entitled an Act granting the assent of the General Assembly of Maryland to a bequest of the last will and testament of Elijah Bishop, late of Harford county, to Wm. F. Brand, as trustee, directing him to expend a part of said bequest in the completion or adornment of St. Mary's P. E. Church, in Harford county. Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com- mittee on Judicial Proceedings. Also, House bill, entitled an Act to authorize the County Com- missioners of Dorchester county to re-assess the property of Vachel Keene, lying in Drawbridge District of said county. |
