Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.
House bill, entitled an Act to repeal the fifth section of an
Act, entitled an Act to incorporate the Western Avenue Com-
pany, passed January Session, 1860, chapter 112, and to
enact the following in lieu thereof,
Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows :

NEGATIVE—None
Mr. Denson, from the Committee on Corporations, reported
a bill, entitled an Act to amend an Act, parsed January Ses-
sion, 1858, chapter 410, entitled an Act to incorportate the
Mineral Hill Mining Company of Maryland, by adding additional sections thereto,
Was read the first time.
On motion by Mr. Spates,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
prepare and report, a hill, entitled an Act to amend the Act
of January Session, 186,5, chapter 200, entitled an Apt to in-
corporate the Lincoln Coal, Iron, Fire-Brick and Oil Com-
pany, of AIlegany county, by adding thereto additional sec-
tions, Changing its name, providing for an increased number
of the Directors, and of its capital stock, &c.
On, motion by Mr. Davis,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Davis, Tuck and Steiner
to prepare and report a bill, entitled 'i Supplement to an Act
entitled an Act to incorporate the Hillen Road Company of
Baltimore county, passed at January Session, 1854, chapter
99, and supplements thereto.
Mr. Steiner presented 1 the petition of G. W. Miller and
W. H, Todd, and twenty others, citizens of Frederick county,
praying the passage of a law providing for the election of'
School Commissioners and School Trustees by the [people.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Education.
