Joint Resolutions requesting the Senators and Members of the House of Representatives Irom Maryland to use their in- fluence to have a survey made of the harbor of thu mouth of Patuxent River, Were read a third time and passed by yeas and. nays, a follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Senate bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Agricultural and Mechanical Society of Allcgany County and West Vir- ginia and Pennsylvania, to issue additional coupon bonds, and secure the payment thereof, Was read the secon'l time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Senate bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Queen City Savings' Bank of Cumberland, Maryland, Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. JOINT ASSEMBLY. The hour of 12 having arrived, the Senate proceeded to the House of Delegates fur the purpose of convening in Joint Assembly with that Body, for the election of United States Senator. |
