28 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 10,. The Senate proceeded to the consideration of Executive Business, and, after a time, resumed the consideration of Legislative Business. On motion by Mr. Blake, it was Ordered, That the Committee on Public Buildings be authorized to inquire into the probable cost of removing the water closets from the first floor of this building to that of the cellar ; also, to convert the present rooms occupied for water closets to committee rooms, and report to this House. Mr. Fields submitted the following order : Ordered, That each Senator be furnished with ten extra copies of the daily Journal. Which was read. Mr. Compton moved to strike out the word "ten," and' in lieu thereof insert the word five. On the question being put, It was determined in the affirmative. The question then recurred upon the adoption of the order as amended, And, on being put, Was determined in the affirmative. On motion by Mr. Blake, The Senate adjourned. WEDNESDAY, January 10, 1872. Senate met. Present at the roll call the following Senators : Messrs.
