Mr. Chapman moved to reconsider the vote by which the bill was passed. The question recurring upon concurring in the motion; Mr. Travers moved to lay the motion on the table. Decided in the negative. On motion of Mr. Chapman, The further consideration of the bill was indefinitely post- poned. On motion of Mr Harig, The vote by which the order submitted by Mr. Travers to pay each. of the officers $75, was reconsidered. The question then recurring upon the adoption of the or- der, It was rejected. |
