Mr. Penington, Chairman of the Committee on Conference,
appointed to consider the disagreeing votes of the two Houses
upon
The Senate bill entitled an Act to transfer the sum of
money appropriated by chapter 383, section 1, Acts of Gen-
eral Assembly of 1870, to the Elkton and Massey's Railroad
Company, from said company to the Middletown and Elkton
Railroad Company, submitted the following
REPORT:
The Committee of Conference to whom was referred the dis-
agreeing votes of the two Houses, on Senate bill No, 74, beg
leave to report, that after full conference they have been un-
able to agree. The Conferees on behalf of the Senate are
equally divided, and a majority of the Conferees on behalf of
the House are in favor of adhering to the House amend-
ments, and a minority is in favor of receding therefrom.
They therefore ask to be discharged from the further consid-
eration of the subject.
