So the motion to lay the order on the table did not prevail. The question then recurring upon the adoption of the order, it was adopted. The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes- sage: BY THE SENATE, April 1, 1872. Gentlemen of the House of Delegates: We have received your message asking a Committee of Conference on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses on the bill authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore City, to endorse the First Mortgage Bonds of the Baltimore and Drum Point Railroad Company, and concur therein. We have appointed on the part of the Senate, Messrs. Wil- liams, Longwell and. Steiner. By order, AUGUSTUS GASSAWAY, Secretary. Which were read.
