1872.] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES. 1415 The Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to Article III., of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to "Crimes and Punishments," under the sub-heading, "Embezzling Property and Writings," Being upon a third reading, Mr. Colton, of Baltimore City, submitted the following amendment: AMENDMENT PROPOSED. In line 6, after the word "imprisonment," add, "for a term not exceeding thirty days,*' The amendment was adopted, and The bill, as amended, was then read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows:
Said bill was then returned to the Senate. The Senate bill entitled an Act. to repeal the 24th section of the Act of January Session, 1870, chapter 476, entitled an Act to provide for the creation and regulation of incorporated companies in the State of Maryland, and to re-enact the same with amendments, giving additional powers to Railroad Com- panies incorporated by this State, Was read a third time and rejected by yeas and nays, as follows: |
