The Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional section
to Article III., of the Code of Public General Laws, relating
to "Crimes and Punishments," under the sub-heading,
"Embezzling Property and Writings,"
Being upon a third reading,
Mr. Colton, of Baltimore City, submitted the following
amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In line 6, after the word "imprisonment," add, "for a
term not exceeding thirty days,*'
The amendment was adopted, and
The bill, as amended, was then read a third time and
passed by yeas and nays, as follows:
