A bill, entitled an Act authorizing James W. Dennis,
guardian of Levin E. P. Rowland, a minor, to pass his final
account with the Orphans' Court of Somerset county.
Which was read a first time.
Also, reported unfavorably,
A bill, entitled to amend the Article XVI., of the Code of
Public General Laws, by sideline thereto the following sec-
tions, relating to Trustees' bonds.
The report was adopted.
Also, reported
A bill, entitled an Act to amend and re-enact the 85th
and 86th sections of Article of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore City, entitled "Auctions,"
And asked to be discharged from the further consideration
thereof, and that said bill be referred to the Committee on
Ways and Means.
The Committee was discharged, and the bill so referred.
Mr. Travers, Chairman of the Committee on Inspections,
reported favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1870, chapter 418,
entitled an Act to repeal nil those sections of Article IV.
of the Code of Public Local Laws for (lie City of Baltimore,
title "Inspections," from section 272 to section 567; also,
the following Act, supplementary and amendatory thereto,
to wit: The Act of 1861, chapter 35, Act of 1862, chapters
116, "199, 254 and 283, Act of 1864, chapters 189, &28, 339,
346, 369 and 384, Act of 1865, chapters 6, 165, 192 and 194,
Act of 1867, chapters 148, 241, 368 and 381, and Act of
1868, chapters 128, 295, (except sections 8 and 9 of said Act
of 1868, chapter 295,) 5 and 458, relating to inspections,
(except sections 410 to 423, inclusive, and sections 458 to
477, all inclusive, and sections 495 to 547, inclusive,) rela-
ting to Tobacco.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Foster, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably, *
A bill, entitled, an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to issue and lend to the Western Mary-
land Railroad id Company i he stock of the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to the amount of one million of dollars,
