Said bill was then returned to the Senate.
Mr. Markland, Chairman on the part of the House of the
Joint Committee on Printing, submitted the fallowing
REPORT.
To the House of Delegates of Maryland:
The Joint Committee on Printing report, that the Printers
of the General Assembly, have delivered all Documents or-
dered by both Houses of the General Assembly, both in Eng-
lish and German, with the exception of the School Report,
which, owing to the lateness of the time in which it was re-
ceived, will be ready in a few days for delivery to the mem-
berg of the General Assembly. They have selected and au-
thorized Samuel T. McCullough, Esq., to index the Journal
of the House of Delegates, Stevenson Archer of John, Esq.,
to index the Journal of the Senate, and Senate and House of
Delegates Resolutions and Documents, and Thos. H. Moore,
Esq., to index the laws passed by this General Assembly, at
the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars each, payable by
the Comptroller when the work is completed.
We would also state that the printing matter has been
executed in an excellent and workmanlike manner, on good
paper, with neatness and dispatch. The laws so far as ap-
