1366 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [April 1, Said bill was then sent to the Senate. On motion of Mr. Kirk, At 11 3/4- P. M., the House adjourned. MONDAY, April 1, 1872, The House met and was opened with prayer by the Rev. Mr. Highley, Chaplain. Present at the call of the roll the following members: Messrs. Roach, Waller, Dougherty, Smith, Vickers, Radcliffe, Groome, Mearns, Penington, Scott, Sasscer, Bowie, Eareck- son, Ford, of Queen Anne's county, Franklin, Phillips, .Rowe, Delaplane, Miller, Riley, Baldwin, Streett, Hardcastle, Deweese, McCosker, Hamilton, T. H., Cooper, Hamil- ton, O. R., Jamart, Foster, Staylor, Stewart, Travers, dark, of Baltimore city, Colton, of Baltimore city, Kirk, Chaisty, Harig, Feig, McColgan, Markland, Griswold, Young, of Wash., Ardinger, Newcomer, Whitson, Hilton, Riggs, dark, of Mont., Porter, Coles, Young, of Alle., Robinette, Steele, Polk, Linthicum, Johnson, Langrell—77. Mr. Stewart submitted the following order: Ordered, That during the recess of the Legislature, the Hall of the House of Delegates and Committee Rooms there- to attached shall be under the care and control of the present Hallkeeper. Which was adopted. Mr. Foster, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations, reported favorably, The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Chesa- peake Immigration and Laud Improvement Company of the State of Maryland. Which was read a second time. |
