Said bill was then sent to the Senate. Mr. Delaplane submitted the following order : Ordered, That the Chairman of the Committee on Claims, draw his warrant in favor of Milton Y. Kidd and Thomas H. Moore, each, for two hundred dollars, for the faithful dis- charge of their duties at the present session, Which was adopted. Mr, Mearns submitted the following order : Ordered, That the Chairman of the Committee on Claims, draw his warrant in favor of B. H. Hanson, Jr., (Journal Clerk,) for two hundred dollars, for the faithful discharge of his duties the present Session. Which was read. The question then recurring upon the adoption of the order, Mr. Biggs demanded the yeas and nays, The demand being sustained, the yeas and nays were called, and appeared as follows :
